About this learning path

Through the five courses of the Shopify POS launch and operations learning path, you’ll explore how to set up and configure Shopify POS, select and set up hardware and payments, train and manage staff, execute common operational tasks, and optimize growth within the Shopify POS system.

Requirements

We recommend you have an understanding of Shopify products, basic retail operations, and point-of-sale systems.

Assessment details

  • The assessment consists of 60 scored questions and will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. There is no time limit for the assessment.
  • A score of 80% will earn a Shopify Verified Skill badge shareable via Credly.
  • Assessments may contain up to 10 additional unscored questions that do not impact your results. These are inserted randomly into the assessment to gather data for future testing.
  • Badges are valid for two years from the date of successful completion.
